The second annual KAABOO Del Mar music festival kicks off Sept. 16-18 at Del Mar Fairgrounds with more than 75 top music artists and bands. The festival also includes performances by 15 headlining comedians, as well as 10 accomplished chefs battling it out in a food competition. Nearly 30 restaurants will be on hand to feed the crowd, and about 50 wineries and breweries will make sure everyone has a drink in hand. Enjoy contemporary public art installations, late-night dance parties, and a pampering lounge to refresh your look.

The gates open at 11:30 a.m. daily, and the outdoor live music will end at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 9 p.m. on Sunday. What’s different about KAABOO than other music festivals? Well, you don’t have to use port-o-potties and sleep on the ground. They have actual toilets and you don’t have to stay at the fairgrounds overnight. KAABOO has seating areas so you don’t have to sit on a dirty blanket, and indoor air-conditioned spaces to take a break from the elements. Hooray for an upgraded Coachella experience that we don’t have to drive to the desert for! #Adulting

Here are the 10 musical acts I’m most excited to see at KAABOO: Jimmy Buffett, Hall & Oates, Gin Blossoms, Orianthi, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, Goo Goo Dolls, Flo Rida, Ludacris and Jack Johnson. The comediennes I’m looking forward to laughing with are Sarah Silverman, Natasha Leggero, and Garfunkel and Oates.

Only two more weeks until the festival! Buy passes here.
